Enrico Brazzoli e Maurizio Barone portano la loro Peugeot 208 R2 al termine dell'impegnstiva gara sugli sterrati del Galles e conquistano un meritatitissimo secondo posto nella classifica WRC3 accompagnato da una prestigiosa terza piazza tra le vetture a due ruote motrici. La vettura dell'equipaggio italiano, come sempre seguita dagli uomini del Team Vieffecorse, ha marciato come un orologio dall'inizio alla fine ed ha permesso al driver di Saluzzo di cogliere con costanza ottimi riscontri cronometrici.
"Sono davvero felice per questo risultato finale: arrivare terzo di due ruote motrici alle spalle del Campione Europeo Junior (il britannico Chris Ingram) e del vice-campione WRC3 (il francese Raphael Astier) è sicuramente una bella soddisfazione!" ha dichiarato un sorridente Enrico Brazzoli sulla pedana di arrivo del Wales Rally GB "Ci tengo a ringraziare il Team per l'ottimo lavoro svolto, la Scuderia WRT per il supporto nel corso di tutta la stagione e DMack per gli pneumatici che hanno equipaggiato la mia auto già dallo scorso anno. Adesso ci godremo un po' di riposo e poi inizieremo a lavorare per la stagione 2018: non ho ancora pianificato la mia attività per il prossimo anno ma mi piacerebbe misurarmi di nuovo nel WRC".
Enrico Brazzoli and Maurizio Barone lead the their Peugeot 208 R2 to the end of the demanding competition on the gravel roads of Wales and bring home a deserved second place in the WRC3 classification accompanied by a prestigious third position among 2WD cars. The car of the Italian crew, as always managed by the technicians of Vieffecorse, has worked like a clock from the beginning to the end of the rally and has allowed the driver from Saluzzo to get with constance excellent chronometric feedback. I am really happy with this final result: being third of 2WD behind the Junior European Champion (the British Chris Ingram) and of the vice-Champion WRC3 (the French Raphael Astier) is certainly a beautiful satisfaction!"
